Modernisation Consultancy

In support of our Modernisation journey, we are seeking to engage with a partner to provide consultancy support. The successful partner will have experience in similar IT Modernisation and/or large IT transformation programmes in similar organisations.

They must have specific knowledge of SIAM based organisations, product delivery-based working. They must be able to demonstrate experience of delivering significant outcomes in operating model and technology transformations in the UK. In addition, they should have experience of working in change delivery in Higher Education.

We intend to engage with the successful partner until we have successfully modernised our IT Services organisation and successfully implemented our Target Operating Model. Our expectation is that our Modernisation journey will take us through to 2020, however the exact duration will depend on (amongst other things):

• Changing business priorities
• Key decision points of the Modernisation roadmap - around cost benefits at each phased delivery of the operating model
• the speed with which change can be delivered across the organisation
• the speed in which we can move through sourcing and procurement processes and engage with supply
• achieved progress milestones

Detailed, time-bound deliverables will be called off at specific times throughout the engagement.
