Dermatology Services Soft Market Engagement Event; 26 May 2016

Open Early Engagement - This means that Greenwich CCG has a procurement idea which is the early stages of development. In order to develop this project further the CCG is holding a Market Engagement Event on 26 May 2016 at the Charlton Athletic Football Ground, Floyd Road, Charlton. London. SE7 8BL.

Greenwich CCG are would like to invite bidders to this Dermatology Services Market Engagement Event which will include a presentation about the service the CCG intends to commission, information about the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the CCG and a question and answer session.

This is likely to be a 2 year contract with a possible additional 12 months. The contract value will be in the region of is £900,000.

The Commissioners are looking for early engagement with providers and the market in general and from any interested parties who are dedicated to providing the very best choice, service and patient care standards. In particular the commissioners would like to meet to discuss our approach to market to test options of procurement by “lots” or “prime provider”, to understand the capacity and the ability of providers to deliver the service, innovation and contribute to achieving a joined up approach to the dermatology pathways.

The overall aim of the procurement is to provide services in the community for patients who are registered with a GP practice in Greenwich CCG. Following the Market Engagement, NHS Greenwich CCG is expecting to commence a formal procurement process for Dermatology; the approach will be informed by market engagement output
