The College of Health & Social Care invites proposals for the provision of a virtual reality space with existing healthcare related scenarios.
In support of the development of teaching resources and technology in Health and Social Care the College has secured funding for the installation of an Immersive interactive Learning Space.
The aim is allows students to practice their clinical skills in any context and using iPad photographs new locations can be made available quickly and easily using the provided software. This will allow academic staff to build a library of locations from placement visits which will give the students the ability to practice in any environments. It also has the potential to be used as a shared resource outside of the college since it is capable of any environment with suitable digital photography.
