description

This procurement relates to the Provision of Replacement Curtain Track and Fitting Services.

To eliminate or minimise ligature risks associated with curtains Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust wishes to standardise the rails and fittings on all patient areas within Rampton Hospital.

Many areas already have the Silent Gliss GS6021 or GS6290 rails already installed and the GS6290 rail shall be installed in all other locations. The fittings on the GS6021 and GS6290 shall be changed to the Blue and Yellow safety gliders in the appropriate number, as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

Full details are contained within our specification, which can be found in see Part B of the ITT. Spreadsheet referenced RA SG revA contains details of all curtain rail installations and details the class of work required and an estimation of parts/fittings required.

NOTE: Silent Gliss (GS6021/GS6290) only - no alternative accepted.
