BWCP201905 - Provision of Specialist Zoo Diets and Nutritional Supplements to Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Specialist Zoo Diets and Nutritional Supplements to Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park.

The successful provider must be a specialist provider of exotic animal diets and supplements.

The following specialist diets / supplements (or equivalent) must be available:

• gluten free primate food
• marmoset gum
• Low Fe lemur diet
• High fibre red panda diet
• Ostrich diet (or equivalent suitable for greater rhea)
• Crane diet
• Pig diet
• Macropod diet
• Caavidae diet
• General exotic rodent diet
• Carnivore dietary supplement
• Exotic leaf eater diet
• Pheasant maintenance diet
• Zoo grazer maintenance diet
• A range of other exotic diets and supplements as required

This contract will be for a period of 1 year commencing 15.04.2019 until 14.04.2020 with option to extend for a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance to deliver all orders on time.
