Supply and Delivery Of Temporary Flood Barriers That Consist Of Barrier consisting of metal frames with metal panels spanning between them with or without an impermeable membrane

Additional information: Instructions to Suppliers: The Agency is seeking to improve its incident response capability by increasing its stock of temporary flood defences. These defences may be used in a variety

of flooding incidents and will form an essential part of our flood incident

response.

The Agency is seeking to award a contract to multiple suppliers of Flood

Protection Products consisting of metal frames with metal panels spanning

between them with or without an impermeable membrane

To supply between 5km and 25km of these flood barriers, depending upon available budget. The suppliers will be required to supply all fittings, fixings and consumables to permit uncompromised deployment and operation of the equipment throughout its life. The equipment is stored at a network of depots distributed around England.

The Award Criteria is as stated in the Invitation to Tender.

The Environment Agency shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by any candidate or tenderer in connection with the completion and return of the information requested in this Contract Notice, or in the completion or submission of any tender. This contract is primarily intended to meet the needs of the Environment Agency. The Agency may require the successful bidder(s) to provide the goods/services on the same terms that are agreed as a result of this tender to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and to its associated bodies including any Agencies and non departmental public bodies and others (the Defra Group).
