Better Queensway regeneration project INVITATION TO PROCUREMENT LAUNCH
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council would like to invite you to a procurement launch event on Thursday 22 March 2018 for our £400 million regeneration project, Better Queensway.
Join us at the end of the world's longest pleasure pier to hear more about the Better Queensway project, why Southend-on-Sea is a great development and investment opportunity, and to meet key stakeholders involved in the project.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- c.£400 million investment opportunity in central Southend-on-Sea
- c.1300 new homes as part of complete estate renewal programme
New commercial space, transport and public realm improvements
Following Full Council approval, we are now seeking a partner/consortium to fund, develop and manage the scheme through a 30 year partnership.
Event itinerary:
Thursday 22 March 2018
1pm onwards - registration & refreshments at Southend Pier entrance, Western Esplanade, SS1 2EL
1.30pm and 2 pm - Pier trains leave shore end
2.30pm-4pm - Event takes place at THE ROYAL PAVILION, Southend-on-Sea Pier, and will include refreshments
4.15pm and 4.45pm - Pier trains returns to shore end
