description

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust currently have a crèche service provided to Trust staff at Lincoln County Hospital and Boston Pilgrim Hospital. We are looking for a long term partner to build a new facility on the grounds of the hospitals and then to operate a crèche service.

Additional information:

Lincoln Location

Land will be provided by the Trust via a long term lease, with options to purchase should that be required. After the lease period the property will revert to Trust ownership should a purchase agreement not be agreed. Location can be viewed on site.

Boston Location

To be identified by the service partner with support and agreement from the Trust.

Lincoln and Boston Service Requirements

We require the service to provide a capacity for 80 children, between the hours of 6am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

Car parking facilities and garden space must be provided within the design, and to ensure all security and safeguarding measures are included.

The building must comply with all building and other relevant regulations and will be overseen by the Trust's capital projects team for compliance.

Expression of Interest

At this stage the Trust are requesting expressions of interest to explore both opportunities further and to design stage.

The Trust is open to all enquires, whether, current crèche providers, building contractors, private businesses. Crèche providers can partner with a suitable building contractor, or vice versa to deliver the overall project which we hope to launch April 2026.

We are also open to a build only option, from which the Trust can either lease directly to then procure a crèche provider, or the building could be leased by the crèche provider directly in order to provide the Trust the service required.

The cut-off date for expressions of interest will be the 14th February 2025 @ 17:00hrs, should any interested parties wish for a site visit across both sites or more information - Please email: katie.savage@ULH.nhs.uk

The Trust currently operates similar long term lease property options with other providers so is well adapt to providing sustainable long term investment schemes for partners.

All costs regarding feasibility surveys, design and planning prior to build are the responsibility of the interested parties.
