GB-Lyneham: 700009416 Plasma Cutting Table

NOTE: This notice was updated on 08 November 2019 for the following reason: deadline extended due to issues with DCO access of tender docs.(The MOD is seeking the supply of a water type Plasma Cutting Table as described in the supporting documentation Statement of Requirement.

Cutting table must have a minimum cutting area of 3000 x 1500mm and be capable supporting the weight of a 25 mm thick sheet steel (700kg).

b.The table must be of a water type bed.

c.The table must be compatible with the departments existing Plasma cutter.

i.Plasma Machine-Nertajet 50

ii.Plasma Torch-Nertajet CPM 15

• d.A method of loading sheet-metal onto the cutting table that integrates fully with it, can support the same weight (700kg) and that eliminates the requirement for manual handling up to table height (H&S critical requirement) must be supplied. This method must facilitate delivery via forklift and prevent damage to the cutting table under normal use.

e.Installation and full user and maintenance training.

As this is a low value tender there will be no further rounds of bids or evaluation bidders are required to complete the SAQ and submit their tender by the tender return date, suppliers are asked to also complete the Cyber Essentials element of the Tender as per the tender evaluation section.
