Description: The works include but are limited to:

To refurbish the former nursery to the ground floor of Peter Taylor House as phase 1 of 2 to create the office accommodation for prior occupation to the phase 2 extension.

The final use will be for a Student Hub of which the office staff of the Student Union will occupy the phase 1, existing floor area.

The works will include demolition of non-load bearing walls, the majority are masonry. Then erect any new walling in metal studwork and decorate. There will also be a requirement for fire alarm alterations, plumbing (both removal of existing and installation / supply and installation of a kitchenette, a new access for all / DDA toilet, heating system alterations, new suspended ceilings and carpeting throughout.

The requirement is for will also be data cabling, to be installed by our contractor, directly appointed. These works will be required to commence within your occupation/works.

A door entry lock system, using staff/student identity cards will require data and power points and the system will be installed by our contractor. These works will be required to commence within your occupation/works.
