Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

A recent development is that CCC, HDC and SCDC are working in strategic partnership to share a number of Council services.

Contract Value

The current requirement based on the two Council's usage for these services indicates an annual contract value of approximately £1.6 million and a breakdown of the spend in 2015/2016 can be seen in chart below. The actual requirements will fluctuate during the term of the contract and the Councils do not guarantee any values or volume of orders for services from The Contract.

Assuming that the other Councils named in this notice(in 1.3) join the contract then the total annual contract value should will not exceed £8 million per year.

Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) and South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) known as the Councils, are based in Cambridgeshire and are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Agencies to provide temporary agency staff to the Councils as part of a joint procurement exercise. The Councils are therefore establishing an Agency Staff Framework Contract (The Contract), comprising of a number of categories and it is envisaged that a number of Agencies will be appointed to each category. Agencies will be invited to bid via OJEU Public Contract Regulations 2015 open tender procedure to create an OJEU compliant Framework contract. The final contract will be a separate call off contract from the created Agency Staff Framework Contract between each Council. Whilst The Contract is a joint contract with HDC and SCDC, The Contract will also be open for Cambridge City Council (CCC), East Cambridgeshire District Council (ECDC) and Fenland District Council (FDC) at their discretion
