LUPC Security Services

LUPC, acting as the Consortium, is working with its Member Institutions to establish a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Security Services in Greater London and the South East of England (Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex). Member Institutions of LUPC’s sister consortium, Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC), that are based in the Greater London or the South East of England will also be able to use this Framework Agreement. Please note that only SUPC’s Member Institutions in Greater London and the South East will have access to this Framework Agreement.

The Framework Agreement will be divided into two Lots:

Lot 1: Security Services: Guarding and Reception (Large) - contracts over £250k p.a

Lot 2: Security Services: Guarding and Reception (Small) - contracts under £300k p.a

Both lots incorporate a range of security services including but not limited to guarding, reception services, internal and external patrolling, access control of people, incident management, CCTV monitoring, security systems management, door supervision and event security, and cash handling.

Potential Providers will need to choose which of the two lots they wish to bid for, and are restricted to bidding for one lot only. LUPC plans to award each Lot to a panel of four Providers, following the tender process. During the PQQ stage, the intention is to arrive at a shortlist of 7 Providers for each lot for formal Invitation to Tender against the requirement as advertised in the OJEU Notice.
