Tender Notice

Title: Padgate Play Area

Closing Date: 4 November 2022, 5pm

Description:

The Parish Council are looking to upgrade the existing play equipment at Padgate Play Area, Padgate, Thorpe End.

The existing trim trail and springies to remain but all other equipment is to be removed.

Equipment:

The quote should include the following pieces of equipment:

• Bench
• Swing with two cradle seats
• Swing with two bumper seats
• Swing with nest seat
• Inclusive roundabout (with seat and scooter if possible)
• Climber unit (for ages approx. 3-10 years) - to be all inclusive and in particular to include at least the following:

All equipment should be accompanied with a brochure and a materials breakdown for each piece.

Fencing:

Quote to include bow top metal fencing and gates (in the same position as the current gates) to go around east, south and west boundaries.

Dimensions for fencing -

Northgate end - Panel 0.700, Gate 1.300 over all, Panel 6.95, Double Gate 2.95 over all, Panel 0.700

Padgate end - Panel 1.800, Gate 1.300 over all, Panel 7.200

Site:

Quote needs to all include all site setup, site welfare facilities and security fencing to comply with all health and safety regulations.

Groundworks:

Quote to include removal of all foundations of the play equipment, all concrete and tarmac and grassmats on site.

Preparation of the ground to lay new surfacing.

Supply and install ground protection at both park entrances.

Supply and install grass matting as ground impact safety surface around the equipment.

Finishing:

To reinstate the area to grass to include topsoil and seed

To ensure that all holes are backfilled and reseed after foundations are removed.

To remove everything from site

To ensure that the site is ready to be opened to the public upon completion

To include a quote for an independent post installation inspection (this may be removed from tender but the Parish Council would be grateful if this could be included).

Case Studies:

Please could all tenders include case studies of previous play ground projects which you have undertaken.

All tenders must be received by the closing date. Tenders to be submitted by post in triplicate to 33 Lakeland Close, Little Plumstead, NR13 5FF. All tenders have to be clearly marked with "TENDER" on the envelope.
