description

This is to extend the current MOU to provide the UK's Radio Medical Advice (RMA). RMA is advice given by a doctor, generally a consultant with specialist knowledge of maritime related condition, to the master / skipper of a vessel at sea requesting assistance, in form of a telephone or radio link call (Medilink). The service is currently provided by the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) and Queen Alexandra Hospital (QA) in Portsmouth.
