Water Systems Compliancy Contract - AWARD

West Suffolk Council are currently out to tender for the provision of a water systems compliancy specialist contractor to undertake the following duties at property managed by, and within the boundaries of, West Suffolk Council.

• Examination and advice on improving current and proposed overarching legislative and best practice management controls / policies.
• Legionella risk assessments and reviews
• Water hygiene monitoring and controls (Prevention of Legionella).
• Shower de-scale / cleaning.
• Tap / outlet de-scale / cleaning.
• Water sampling and laboratory analysis reporting.
• Legionella training and certification of those responsible persons on sites for water services.
• Prescribed method cleaning of water systems and chemical disinfection.
• Maintenance / upgrade / refurbishment / inspect & report of storage tanks / calorifiers.
• Maintenance of on-going site water dosing systems.
• Maintenance, monitoring and testing of rainwater recycling plant systems.
• Maintenance, monitoring and testing of vehicle wash recycling plant systems.

The contract will be for a period of three years commencing on 1 August 2022, with an option to extend for a maximum of a further two years.
