description

For this project, NWEDR is seeking to commission a multi disciplinary consultancy team on behalf of Wyre Forest District Council to help bring forward the comprehensive re-development and re-imagination of an area in Kidderminster Town Centre known as ‘Kidderminster Eastern Gateway’

Kidderminster Eastern Gateway is a collection of interrelated sites that represent a series of significant development and investment opportunities to the eastern side of Kidderminster.

The site extends to approximately 6.5 ha and includes the existing public car park at Bromsgrove Street, a medical centre, the former magistrate’s court and Glades Leisure Centre. It also encompasses Worcester Street, which formed part of the traditional retail core of the town but has suffered serious decline over the past 10-15 years.
