The contract will cover maintenance of existing equipment and consumables for existing equipment to perform Cell Selection & Processing procedures. The Cellular & Molecular Therapies (CMT) laboratories within NHS Blood and Transplant ( NHSBT) provide a range of services to support haemopoietic stem cell transplantation including collection, processing, and cryopreservation of stem cells. An important part of the services offered by CMT is the purification of stem cells and depletion of other cells, such as CD3+, TCRαβ, CD19+ cells, that may cause complications in the transplant procedures.
