The business is currently undertaking a programme of improvements to variable speed limits (VSLs) on the strategic road network, to improve the appropriateness of mandatory and advisory VSLs based on safety and customer insight.

As part of the VSLs programme and based on key recommended improvements from the comprehensive review of VSLs, this project will provide consultant support for:

Analysis of data for benefits realisation for VSLs programme and its individual initiatives.
Development of a benefits dashboard for VSLs programme.
Support to maintain and update dashboard, including reporting.
Any further customer insight as required.
