ESCC MA PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL CATERING SERVICES

East Sussex County Council are seeking any qualified and suitable providers to deliver a school meal service to educational establishments in East Sussex. The contract will provide a school meals service with the aim to meet statutory responsibilities, improve value for money for schools and parents, whilst providing good quality, healthy meals for children which as a minimum meet the Government standards set for school lunches.

The current school meals service provides approximately 18,000 meals per day from approximately 150 sites (this includes maintained primary, secondary, free and special schools and Academies).

Initially we are undertaking market engagement activities, prior to any potential procurement.

The Council is holding a market engagement event on the 5th July 2018 at County Hall, Lewes. In order to register your interest in attending you are required to register your interest in this opportunity and complete an application form - deadline for receipt of booking forms is close of business Monday 2nd July. Places are limited and we reserve the right to limit the number of attendees per organisation.

Relevant information relating to the market engagement event will be made available to all bidders as part of the procurement documents or any further market activity the Council undertakes.

A Prior Information Notice has been sent for publication to the OJEU on 12th June 2018.
