LCCITS150015 Radio Connection Break Fix Contract

The Council requires a maintenance provider to deliver break-fix and other services for its point to point radio network. In addition to its core wide area network, the Council operates a small number of tactical point to point radio link connections where, for a variety of reasons (cost, location, etc.), it is not practical to utilise the core network. These tactical connections are the subject of this procurement and consist of 35 pairs of radio links with equipment from a number of providers: Cambium, Motorola, RW2000 and Proxim. The connections have been extremely reliable with only three occurrences over the last five years that have resulted in a lack of connection:
