The service requirement is for language training to prepare members of the UK Civil Service European Fast Stream (EFS) for the technical and language requirements of the annual Graduate entry (AD5/7) competition (the "concours") for permanent employment in the European Union institutions and to assist with the development of an effectively bilingual cohort of EU experts across the Civil Service.
