Havering Council invites suitably experienced providers to tender for the Support Service for a Young Persons Accommodation Scheme at Heather Court, Harold Wood in Havering. Heather Court is a purpose built supported housing scheme of 15 part furnished flats that are let on an assured shorthold tenancy to young people aged 16-25. The Council is committed to achieving better outcomes for young people who are at risk, leaving care, offending or at risk of offending or misusing substances. The primary aim of this Support Service is to support Heather Court residents to achieve their agreed outcomes including gaining the necessary experience, confidence and skills required to move on to and be able to manage themselves in independent accommodation. Contract will be for 3 years with the potential to extend for a further 2 years (reviewed for each subsequent year). This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system “capitalESourcing” (url: www.capitalesourcing.com). Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system in order to participate, and registration is free.
