Provision of 2022 Event Management Support for DMC activities

This purpose of this procurement is to procure Event Management Support Services on behalf of the DMC.

These activities will primarily happen in the BMBC boundary, although some may be elsewhere within the South Yorkshire Combine Mayoral Authority area. In addition, for one programme, international travel within Europe will be needed.

The events will cover a range of different target demographics, although they will all one way or another fall under business within the Barnsley or South Yorkshire eco system.

This procurement will have 2 live projects which require support immediately and will be used as the basis to award a Framework for Event management.

The intention now is to establish a Framework for Event Management which will allow the Council to select from the successful providers and undertake a streamlined mini competition process to award any new Event Management requirements throughout the contract term. (Each time there would be a significant event or a cluster of events these will be competed on the framework).

This project is subject to grant funding and the following funders are applicable: European Union, European Regional Development Fund, Digital Innovation for growth, Team SY and others that will be advertised by the mini competition processes.
