he Removals Framework is a joint procurement between Bournemouth Borough Council, the Borough of Poole (this includes Poole Housing Partnership known as PHP), Christchurch, East Dorset known as (\"the Council\") Bournemouth Borough Council is leading on the procurement process. A Framework Agreement is an agreement that sets out the terms under which individual contracts (call offs) are let during the contract period.
The contract will cover 2 lots;
- Lot 1 - Housing Removals
- Lot 2 - Council Accommodation Removals
The Council is seeking to appoint a removal firms to assist with residential removal services. We require an experienced and professional removal companies to transport residential property from one property to another for our housing teams and our social care teams. The Council is also seeking to appoint a removal firm to assist with Council Accommodation removals. The work will cover a range of different types of office moves. • Relocation of staff to new or within existing office sites. This will involve moving equipment, including computers and other IT equipment, and furniture. Personal kit items, general office items and stationery, sensitive and other documents, manuals and other associated paperwork and files. • Closures - this could be the closure of a residential home, day centre, warehouse or office and would involve clearing the property, delivering and placing of reusable Equipment to other units throughout the conurbation. • Internal Moves - Relocation of personnel, equipment and furniture from one area to another on the same site. In residential homes this could include moving furniture and residents possessions. This will also include decanting (removals) and the supply of labour to assist with the setting up of temporary offices, kitchen or other operational space. This may involve contact with the clients. • Large Operational Site Set-up - Relocation of necessary equipment and furniture from a storage site to another specific site for the purposes of running an operation for a given period of time and then to remove that equipment at the end of the operation and return it to its storage s
