description
A contract was awarded to continue the Foundation's work in developing the capacity and capability of the Further Education (FE) and training sector to use digital technology effectively to improve outcomes for learners and employers that started with the Learning Futures programme. The Learning Futures programme commissioned 17 action research projects to develop continuing professional development (CPD) resources to increase the skills of practitioners, leaders and governors to get the most from learning technologies. The programme's project website can be accessed here: http://lfuturesnews.co.uk/.
The programme led to the creation of modularised, online, blended learning and face to face delivery programmes that used a range of technology in design and delivery. The programme has upskilled the workforce in the use of digital technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment.
