description

The newly founded Weston Park Cancer Centre requires a new laser scanning confocal microscope and a new high content microscope to support its research in basic and translational cancer research. The confocal microscope will be used for high resolution imaging of fixed and live cells including techniques such as FRET, FRAP and laser microirradiation. High sensitivity, image quality and usability are of great importance. The high content microscope will be used for high throughput imaging of fixed and live cells for various pre-clinical and clinical screening purposes. Samples imaged on both systems will mostly be cell monolayers but can also be tissue sections and spheroids.
