West Harrogate Scheme (NPIF) Phase 1

The works are the widening of Otley Road on the approach to Harlow Moor Road and Harlow Moor Road to facilitate the creation of a designated left turn lane on the western approach to Harlow Moor Road and designated right turn lane on the eastern approach to Harlow Moor Road. In addition, the implementation of a designated off-road cycleway along Otley Road between Harlow Moor Road and Cold Bath Road utilising the existing footways in addition to the widening of the existing footways and creation of on-road cycleway facilities. Both works involve upgrading the existing signalised junctions with new signals. Works will also include site clearance, new kerbing, new footways, revised road markings and signing, street lighting, carriageway surfacing and drainage.
