The ORE Catapult has a requirement to replace its regulator and control system which is associated with the 250 kV oil filled high voltage (HV) test transformer. The HV test transformer is a step-up single phase test transformer that receives LV power at up to 800V and outputs 250 kV, 400 mA. ORE Catapult are seeking a Contractor to design, build, install and commission a new control system and regulator system (the "System") which will be housed in the ORE Catapult's HV laboratories at Alert Street, Blyth, Northumberland.
