description

The Authority has a statutory duty to collect and accommodate stray dogs for a period of seven days. After the 7 day period has lapsed stray dogs that have not been reclaimed become the responsibility of the Authority and in the majority of cases these dogs are rehomed.

The Authority is currently looking for a Service Provider to fulfil the requirement of kennelling of stray dogs for the statutory kennelling period of 7 days.

Access to kennels is required 24 hours a day, everyday including all bank holiday days/nights by staff members working within the Dog Warden section of the Authority.
