LPS CARE - Online Market Engagement Event for the Commissioning of Children's Residential Services via Block Contracting Arrangements

The numbers of Children Looked After (CLA) across the North West are at unprecedented levels. It can be challenging to find suitable, local children's home placements to meet need, particularly for our most complex CLA. Therefore the Council has devised a draft proposal for the commissioning of Children's Residential Care Service, via a Block Contract Agreement. Information relating to this proposal has been uploaded for you to review and express your opinions through answering the online market engagement questionnaire which can be accessed via http://www3.lancashire.gov.uk/corporate/consultation/responses/response.asp?ID=356

Commissioners would like to invite stakeholders to express their views through participating in our online market engagement questionnaire.

A draft (working document) specification and a brief introduction of our proposals can be found on the same link as the online questionnaire. Please read our proposals (specification) prior to completeing the questionnaire. Your responses will assist LCC in determining the best way forward, and we are hoping to be in a position to outline feedback and our proposals through hosting an additional consultation event as explained below.

In addition to the online questionnnaire, the Council's commissioners would like to invite all interested stakeholders to participate in our market engagement consultation event which is scheduled for 12th November 2018, which shall be hosted at County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 0LD at 2pm until 5pm.
