description
The Defence Fuels Acquisition Programme (DFAP) business unit (known as the Department) within Defence Equipment & Support, has identified a possible requirement for the procurement and supply of DIESO MT fuels to British Forces in Germany. An overview of the requirement is as follows:
| • | Procurement and Supply of DIESO MT to Mechanical Transport Fuel Installation (MTFIs). |
| • | Procurement and Supply of DIESO MT to exercise areas. |
| • | Department's Bulk Fuel Carrying Vehicles (BFCVs) to be filled at Supplier's depot. |
| • | Supplier's will be expected to comply with an Departmental exemption from VAT and Mineral Oil Tax. |
It is currently expected that the estimated annual volume of fuel required will be approximately 612,000 litres.
