COV - Shunde Place Walkthrough D&B

This contract is for the creation of a walkway in central Coventry on a design and build basis. The work is to remove part of the existing internal ground floor retail area adjacent to Corporation Street, Coventry, which is currently fully glazed, retaining the buildings over to create a covered walkway of approximately 200m2 through from Corporation Street linking to Smithford Way. The new floor which is over an existing basement is to be ramped up approximately 650mm and new finishes are required to floors, walls which will be mainly safety glazing to the retail areas either side and vandal proof ceiling. All external works are to be allowed for to include revised surface water drainage, lighting and safety paving. The work may commence once planning is approved which is anticipated by the end of September 2015 and is essential that the works are fully completed by 1st December 2015. This Employer for this contract is Michael Ramus Architects, 76 Priory Road, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 1LQ . Coventry City Council are only acting as tender administrators for this requirement.
