description

The University of Exeter’s Medical School require a Ti-sapphire tuneable femtosecond range laser which will be used as the light source for the construction of a multiphoton fluorescence imaging platform. This will be built on an existing Scientifica slicescope using a Scientifica scanhead and chromaflex detectors. The final instrument will be used for a range of live cell imaging applications with a particular focus on neurobiological studies including in vivo imaging. Fluorophores will include GFP, GCaMPs and also voltage sensitive dyes such as di-2-AN(F)EPPTEA.
