Project Management/Site Outreach for Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies

Introduction to the Requirements

This tender is in relation to the overall CYP IAPT. The Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme (CYP IAPT) is a whole service transformation programme delivered by NHS England/HEE that aims to improve existing Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) working in the community.

The programme works to transform existing services provided by the NHS and partners from Local Authority and Third Sector that together form local area CAMHS Partnerships. It ties in with other transformational work happening across CAMHS, including the implementation of Future in Mind, Local Transformation Plans, the Eating Disorders programme, and Commissioning.

The CYP IAPT Midlands Collaborative

The Midlands Collaborative is currently composed of 5 partnerships of CAMHS, Local Authorities and Voluntary Sector Services. It is hoped that over subsequent years, the Collaborative will grow and gain more partners.

The Collaborative’s training in CYP IAPT Therapies, Clinical Supervision and Enhanced Evidence Based Practice are delivered jointly by the University of Derby and the University of Northampton.

The Midlands Collaborative is committed to shared decision-making between the respective partners and agencies, and governance through the Collaborative Board, which has representation from each partnership, the training institutions, as well as young people and hopefully parents, as we progress.

There are two main aspects of this provision that we require services for:-

Only Suppliers who can bid for both parts of this Tender should submit a bid as we will not consider splitting the requirements.
