description

Charlton Lake is a former gravel extraction which is now managed by Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) as an amenity boating lake as part of the Charlton Leisure Centre complex.

The main purpose of the work covered in this phase is the de-silting of the lake and restoration of correct water levels. These works will ensure it remains suitable for continued use as a recreational facility while also taking the opportunity to incorporate ecological and aesthetic improvements.
