P0346 - Provision of Genealogy Services

Birmingham City Council on average receives approximately 100 cases per annum where the deceased person’s next of kin is unknown.

The Council requires the services of an International Genealogists, Family Research and Probate Company in order to trace and locate family members of deceased persons where there is no known next of kin in a timely manner.

The successful company must have international experience in tracing and locating members of deceased persons due to the Council being an international city.

The contract will be for a period of 4 years, commencing on the 1st April 2016.

BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
