description

The aim of the Living Stable Lives service is to help Dacorum residents, living in private rented accommodation, to identify and manage factors within their lifestyle that may lead to a breakdown in their tenancy. The service provider will be required to build service user’s understanding of their responsibilities as a tenant, improve basic life skills to support independent living and create positive relationships between the service user and landlords.

The service should focus on (but is not limited to) high risk and known vulnerable groups, this includes:

Care Leavers
Multi-generational households at risk of overcrowding
Residents with drugs or alcohol issues
Residents that have previously been in temporary accommodation

The service is required to provide a combination of out-reach work and remote support. It is important that this service works with residents to ensure they can live independent lives and feel secure in managing their tenancies therefore different levels of support provision will be required.

Further details of the Service Requirements are provided in the Tender Information documents – Part B
