Expressions of Interest for the Managed Accommodation and Support Service of a Young Persons Homeless Scheme at Merstow Place Evesham

Wychavon District Council is looking to work with a partner to manage accommodation and support for a Young Persons Homeless Scheme.

The accommodation has previously been used as separate single units, with planning permission now in place the Council intends to makes alterations and improvements to the property prior to the commencement of the scheme.

The Service Specification at Appendix A sets out the Councils minimum requirements in respect of the provision of a Young Persons Homeless Scheme.

Should you wish to take part in the selection process please complete the attached questionnaire (Appendix B) and return via the Proactis Portal by 12 noon on Tuesday 16 June 2020. A timetable detailing estimated timelines for the project can be found at Appendix C.

Following expressions of interest and proposals submitted in Appendix B the Council will then meet with bidders to negotiate and agree requirements.

Interested bidders who wish to view the accommodation prior to returning their completed questionnaire should contact Bruce Lomax on 01386 565352 who will make arrangements to meet adhering to the current social distancing requirements due to COVID 19.

The Council are using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.

To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website (there is no charge for this). Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Wychavon District Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.

Any clarification queries must be sent via the portal and clarification responses will also be issued via the portal.
