description
SCC require a Surrey-based community organisation to coordinate - and lead on the execution of - the above Home Energy Advice element of the LEAD project.
The Local Energy Advice Demonstrator (LEAD) project is made up of three key elements:
| • | A community-led 'Home Energy Advice' service offering in-person/in-home advice to fellow residents, and signposting/helping them to access the below two elements. |
| • | A 'One-Stop Shop' (OSS) service for domestic retrofit that provides a comprehensive, centralized and streamlined solution for homeowners in Surrey who are interested in retrofitting their homes. |
| • | A pilot 'Home Decarbonisation Loan' scheme to encourage take-up by customers not eligible for government grant schemes. |
The project is led by Surrey County Council (SCC) alongside consortia partners Action Surrey (AS) and the Surrey Climate Commission (SCCom).
The timescale for the LEAD project is Aug 2023 - Mar 2025 inclusive. This tender is only for support during the 1-year period Oct 2023 - Sep 2024 inclusive.
