Engagement & Communications Manager

About the Role

A self-starter who is driven, ambitious, courteous, goal-focused, and able to work as a versatile corporate communications practitioner, focused on tactical delivery. 5+ years in a corporate communications manager role working across the discipline: media relations, external affairs, event management, internal communications, document production, experience of working with creative agency partners. Needs to have good writing skills, strong relationship management skills, tenacity, a sensitive understanding of professional protocol working across a high-profile central government platform. Will be working across internal and external communications on a significant government change programme. Will need to be robust and dynamic and able to be a key team player and take instruction quickly and efficiently, translating it into credible and enticing deliverables. Must have experience of working with different software packages and be willing to gain new skills. Might need to deputise for G7 leads at various meetings.
