The department has awarded a call-off Contract for Finance Services under the Crown Commercial Services’ Payroll, Human Resources (HR) & Finance Services Framework Agreement (ref RM887) to CGI IT UK Limited. With the certain termination of existing contract for the department’s Financial Accouting, Reporting and Management System (FARMS) on 31 July 2015 and potential delays to the external approvals process, the department was keen to ensure the seamless transfer of Services between suppliers. Therefore, the department awarded Contracts totalling £600,000 to CGI IT UK Limited for Due Diligence and for Transition Services in February and March 2015 respectively.
