PP15081 - Demolition of 42-50 Snow Hill & Reinstatement Works - Wolverhampton - 2015

THE WORKS Description: The demolition and removal of demolished materials off site of an existing three storey block to include the removal of basement, lower basement and foundations. Demolition works shall also include the breaking up and removal of associated hard landscaping areas and features such as pavements, walls, steps, ramps and the like. Reinstatement works following demolition of the building is also included and comprise, backfilling of voids resulting from demolition and making up levels with approved granular material; the construction of an extended surface car park with asphalt concrete surfacing and car park bay marking; the installation of concrete kerbs and pavements; and the installation of new steel guardrails to the perimeter. The Contractor is directed to the Tender drawings to identify the exact extent and nature of the work. Please note it is the Council's intention that this requirement will be awarded to a single supplier who will be responsible for the delivery of the entire works.
