The purpose of this tender exercise was to select a service provider whose delivery of Endoscopy and Outpatient Services would represent value for money, high quality service; combined with the ability to identify and implement service efficiencies across the Trust.
Additional information: The Gastroenterology Department provides Endoscopy Services for the Trust. The contract is to provide a component of the Trust's Endoscopy Service by delivering an agreed volume of endoscopy activity on behalf of the Trust using Trust endoscopy units, facilities and equipment.
Please note that the Trust can give no guarantee of the future levels of work involved in the provision of the Contract.
Indicative activity volumes were provided in the tender documentation, these figures and hence the estimated contract value may vary to meet the demands of the service.
The contract has not been split into Lots on commercial, operational and Contract Management grounds.
