The aims of this contract were:
| • | To place a one-off order for 11 minibuses. 8 diesel and 3 EV's to deliver passenger transport services in the county. |
| • | The intention is for RCC to operate a countywide bus network including electric town bus services and Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) services to meet demand as detailed in the LUF bid document. |
The Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) Framework 215_20 Specialist Vehicles was used to conduct a further competition for this requirement. All suppliers awarded on Lot 6 - Minibuses of the Framework were invited to submit a tender.
