The Contract, which will be divided into two lots is for the provision of:
- An Alcohol/Violence Out of Court Disposal Intervention Scheme for offenders who commit acts of physical or verbal violence against either persons or property, whilst under the influence of alcohol; and to provide basic treatment for the alcohol abuse and the underlying aggressive behaviour it triggers, and
- An Alcohol and Domestic Abuse (DA) Out of Court Disposal Intervention Scheme for low level Domestic Abuse offenders, both intimate partner and wider family members, where the offences committed are triggered / exacerbated by consumption of alcohol. The intervention will integrate basic treatment for the alcohol abuse and the abusive behaviour.
