Medway Archives Relocation Poject

The former Strood library building is to be reconfigured to accommodate a new archives building. It is estimated that these works will progress in early July 2016. The building will be vacated providing an occupied site to work in, however, the bibliographic unit will continue to operate as will the community hall which has already been refurbished prior to the main works starting. Contractors must read and note all the details and conditions in all the tender documents. Any questions relating to the tender must be made to Medway Council through the Kent Business Portal. The contractor shall submit a design and build tender based on the tender documentation provided. The tender shall be in the detail and format as stated in the Contractors Tender Documentation.
