description
Locala Community Partnerships require the provision of Waste Services includes activities to be performed by the approved supplier in relation to the safe and sustainable management of wastes produced from Participating Authorities. This covers the safe handling, collection, segregation, storage, transportation, processing and disposal/re-use/recovery of waste materials where appropriate to support the best outcomes for the environment and minimise the harmful effects of waste. These contracted activities are to be performed in compliance with all relevant regulatory, statutory and other standards and legislation. It also covers the associated certification and reporting requirements required to support the Authority to meet its Duty of Care obligations.
