Weather Forecasting Services

Provide a daily Winter Weather Forecast in accordance with the Specification. The Winter season is from 1st October to 30th April. Forecasts for periods outside the winter season may be ordered on a week by week basis by the Employer and will be dependent upon the prevailing weather conditions. Cheshire East is the lead authority for the procurement of winter weather forecast services for the Cheshire Councils Consortium of Cheshire East Borough, Cheshire West and Chester Borough, Halton Borough and Warrington Borough Councils. All these Councils have access to and use the Countywide Ice Prediction services.
