Catering Services Contract for Llys Ton Extra Care Residential Scheme

Valley To Coast (V2C) is undertaking a catering tender process for their onsite restaurant at Llys Ton Extra Care Residential Scheme near Bridgend in South Wales.The facilities consist of 39 extra care self contained apartments of a very high quality with extensive communal facilities over three levels, arranged around an enclosed courtyard, all under one roof. The complex has capacity for a maximum of 70 residents at any one time but the range tends to be between 40-55. Currently there are 45 residents living at Llys Ton.The caterer provides lunch only (between 12 noon and 13.00) which consists of a 2 course hot meal produced and served on site. This is provided 7 days a week for 365 days a year. For breakfast and evening meal the residents are self sufficient.The contract is fixed price based on the number of residents and the agreed meal price. The new contract is for services from October 2020 for a 3 year term (plus possible 2 year extension on a +1 year, +1 year basis), with an approximate value of 73,000 GBP per annum.
