description

Ambition for Ageing is looking for providers to deliver support for carers over 50 seeking employment in Bolton, Salford and Wigan areas.

Providers should have local links and reach into communities to find out how best to support carers into employment. We are interested in finding out the journey that carers undertake on their way to employment and the barriers and challenges they may face.

The contract is being broken down into 3 'lots', with each area considered 1 'lot'. Providers can bid to deliver the service to 1, 2 or 3 areas.

Ambition for Ageing is a unique cross sector partnership of influential organisations, led by Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation (GMCVO), with the aim of developing creative approaches to reducing social isolation for older people in Greater Manchester. The programme is part of the Big Lottery's national Ageing Better programme which is funding 14 programmes across England. Ambition for Ageing operates in eight areas of Greater Manchester - Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Tameside, and Wigan.

Additional information: Further information is available through the GMCVO Bidding Portal where you will be invited to create an account to view all documentation and to submit any questions via the Q&A Function. This is the only point of contact for enquiries regarding this tender.
